Ezra Beachley, the first generation American-born son of immigrant parents, established the Hagerstown Lounge Company, now Beachley Furniture Company, in 1887.

Since then, five generations of the Beachley family have owned and operated the company, which has grown and thrived because of their commitment to "built-in quality through and through."

The founders motto was, "Give the public quality furniture at a fair price, and the sales will take care of themselves." Ezra Beachley's drive and dedication to quality carried Beachley Furniture company through the rapid expansion of its first decade in business.
